Discovery
The discovery phase helps us to determine the current state of your knowledge management (KM) process. We are onsite to research, gather, and organize information covering standards/criteria related to knowledge management implementation. We present our findings to you for review and approval before moving to the planning phase for the selected KM project.
*The ISO 30401 Standard Knowledge Management Systems Requirements serves as the foundation/support for all our KM projects.

Planning
After we understand your KM process’ current state, we create a KM blueprint (plan) based on the discovery phase results. The plan confirms that during the KM project your process or product knowledge is captured, documented, organized, and managed properly. This blueprint also confirms links between knowledge and its associated roles, processes, technologies, and governance. The planning phase length depends upon your KM process’ current state and is agreed on during Discovery.

Implementation
BDT follows the KM blueprint created during Discovery to implement the KM project and begin rolling it out to the department, division, or the entire company. Depending on the project’s complexity, implementation completion is agreed on during Discovery.
